6 Facts They Didn't Tell You About Life Insurance

Life insurance has been sugar coated by the advertising industry for too long. So let's face it – unfortunately, we are all going to die. Life insurance is one of the best ways to prepare for the worst case scenario; after all, if you were to pass away unexpectedly, the loved ones you leave behind would still need taking care of. Don't leave their futures to chance - protect your loved ones today from just £1 per week »
Here are six reasons why life insurance is a necessity:
  1. Avoid your home being repossessed
If your mortgage relies on the money you make, then you cannot afford to be without life insurance. Last year alone, a staggering 33,9001 homes in the UK were repossessed. If you were to die unexpectedly and your family could not keep up with the repayments, the home you have worked so hard to secure could become just another statistic and your family would be left vulnerable. However, protect your household with life insurance and you could ensure mortgage repayments are met, even long after you are gone.
  2. Cover child care costs
A recent study by LV= found that the cost of raising a child to 21 years of age has now soared to an overwhelming £222,4582. If you were to pass away before your children have grown, who could foot that bill? A payout from your life insurance policy could pay for the hours of childcare your children may need - a small investment to make whilst you can considering that nothing is more important than their protection.
  3. Life Cover from £1 per WeekSecure a good education for your children
Understandably, you want your children to have the best opportunities in life. As university education fees in the UK have now reached a record-high of up to £9,000 per year, setting up a life insurance plan has never been so important, as a payout could meet the costs to support your children's future learning and careers.
  4. Safeguard your loved ones from inheriting your debts
A life insurance payout could write off your debts and ensure future bills are met - meaning your loved ones won't be at risk of being chased by your creditors for the money you owe. A recent report shows 5 million3 UK households are now in debt to their energy supplier alone: Don't let this be the fate of your own family – protect them with life cover today »
  5. Ensure funeral costs are covered
According to Dignity, the cost of the average funeral is set to rise to an unbelievable £5,0004 over the next five years. Life insurance covers funeral costs to relieve the weight of such a huge financial burden on your loved ones at, what is already, an incredibly stressful time for them.

Cannes 2012: Nicole Kidman Drama 'Grace of Monaco' to be Coproduced by India's YRF Entertainment, France's Stone Angels

Veteran Bollywood banner Yash Raj Films' U.S. division will co-produce the film –- to be helmed by Olivier Dahan -– with Stone Angels, the French distributor for “Cosmopolis."

Leading Bollywood banner Yash Raj Films' Hollywood-based division YRF Entertainment and Paris-based Stone Angels will co-produce Grace of Monaco starring Nicole Kidman, and directed by Olivier Dahan (La Vie En Rose). While a budget was not given, the project will start production this fall in the south of France.

The movie tells the story of efforts by the late Princess Grace of Monaco (the former Grace Kelly, played by Nicole Kidman) to make peace between her adopted country and France. According to a statement, “Grace, just 33 years old and having just given up an acting career to become Monaco’s First Lady, maneuvered through a political minefield to resolve the situation, as detailed in the film.”
YRFE CEO and Bollywood actor Uday Chopra (whose father Indian film icon Yash Chopra established YRF over four decades ago) will coproduce with Pierre-Ange Le Pogam of Paris-based Stone Angels, the French distributors of David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis. Stone Angels also co-produced and is distributing Nabil Ayouch's Un Certain Regard entry Horses of God.
YRFE development head Jonathan Reiman will serve as executive producer, along with the film’s writer, Arash Amel. Inferno is currently selling foreign rights to the film at Cannes.
Grace of Monaco is the kind of movie that has a perfect blend of talent and sensibility that YRF Entertainment is proud to be a part of. We look forward to a great partnership with Olivier and Pierre-Ange,” said Chopra.
“When I first read the script written by Arash Amel, I thought it was a great story to tell, with a lot of artistic, historical and emotional potential. This is why I invited Olivier Dahan to become the director because he has this artistic vision. When Olivier and I met with Nicole Kidman for the first time, we felt immediately she was the right artist to portray Princess Grace. When I then met with Uday, I had the same feeling after our conversation. He was obviously the right partner because of his beautiful vision of the movie. We are very proud and enthusiastic to be sharing the experience of working together with YRF,” added Le Pogam.
YRFE was established last November as a subsidiary of Yash Raj Films to develop, finance, and produce English language films for the U.S. and global markets. YRFE is currently overseeing post-production on Peter Glanz’s upcoming comedic feature, The Longest Week, starring Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde.
